Wir bei Formycon begr\u00fc\u00dfen diesen Ansatz ausdr\u00fccklich, da er das Potenzial hat, die Biosimilar-Entwicklung zu beschleunigen und die Kosten deutlich zu senken. Langfristig k\u00f6nnte dies auch dazu beitragen, den oft beschriebenen “Biosimilar-Void” (die Anzahl der patentfreien Biologika ohne Biosimilar-Konkurrenz) zu verringern und f\u00fcr Patienten den Zugang zu biologischen Therapien zu verbessern. Im Hinblick auf unsere Entscheidung, die Phase-III-Studie unseres Biosimilar-Kandidaten FYB206 nicht fortzusetzen, verstehen wir das Reflection Paper als Best\u00e4tigung. Wir sind der Auffassung, dass die \u00dcberlegungen der EMA unseren Ansatz unterst\u00fctzen, die therapeutische Vergleichbarkeit von FYB206 mit dem Referenzmedikament Keytruda\u00ae auf der Grundlage umfassender analytischer Daten und der Daten aus der Phase-I-Studie (Dahlia PK-Studie) nachzuweisen.<\/p>\n

Gem\u00e4\u00df dem Entwurf der EMA sind PK-Studien (Phase-I-Studien) in Bezug auf die klinische Entwicklung in aller Regel ausreichend f\u00fcr die Zulassung eines Biosimilars. CES-Studien (Phase-III-Studien) k\u00f6nnen weiterhin dann erforderlich sein, wenn eine “biologische Substanz nicht gut charakterisierbar ist und\/oder einen unbekannten oder unzureichend verstandenen Wirkmechanismus \/ Struktur-Funktions-Beziehung aufweist oder wenn die Auswirkungen von beobachteten Unterschieden auf die klinischen Ergebnisse unklar sind”.<\/p>\n
